Location. Residence Six is an apartment hotel located in Leeds, England, within 50 metres of the train station and 500 metres from the Victoria Quarter shopping district.
Hotel Features. Originally the city's old Post Office building, Residence Six features a millstone grit facade that dates back to 1896. With in house gym facilities, a DVD library and wireless Internet access throughout the property, Residence Six combines historic architectural features with contemporary style and modern amenities. Further amenities include valet parking (surcharge), laundry facilities and room service.
Residence Six has its own restaurant, bar and and grill, serving an eclectic range of international dishes. The property also houses a Loch Fyne seafood restaurant.

Expert Tip. Leeds' Victoria Quarter is known as the Knightsbridge of the North. Refurbished in 1990, the arcades' original architectural details, including marble floors and tiled mosaics, date from 1900. Shops found here include Louis Vuitton, Harvey Nichols, Vivienne Westwood and Hugo Boss.

From Leeds Bradford Airport (LBA):
Distance to Residence Six is 12 miles, approximately 30 minutes' drive.
Getting there. The number 757 bus runs between the airport and Leeds city centre bus and train stations every 30 minutes. Single tickets cost 2 GPB. There are taxis outside the terminal, costing approximately 18 GBP to Leeds. Prices are all subject to change.
Getting around. Leeds city centre can be explored easily on foot, and free buses are available within the city centre. Leeds station has trains running to destinations in West Yorkshire. These include Wakefield, Sheffield, Huddersfield and York. A national network is also available. A car is useful for exploring the surrounding countryside.
